TRACKS
DATE : 15 June 2014 Event was at Ad, emergence and 2 body pits, we presume it’s the same turtle that had tried here first before moving on to Af for her nest. DATE : 16 June 2014 A new set of tracks in sector Af - Ae. GPS 35.54151N, 23.78634E, approx 75 m west of Af, 50m east of Ae. It looked as though the turtle had walked (anti-clockwise) 30m up the beach, discovered the sand was stony, and returned to the sea initially down her upward tracks for around 10 metres, and then away to the right. The tracks measured about 60 cm. |
